Welcome graphic

Inu-Yupiaq Dancers, is a unique way of passing on our I˝upiaq and Yup’ik Eskimo motion dance stories to a younger generation, which teaches people about our I˝upiaq and Yup’ik Eskimo culture. Inu-Yupiaq is a very unique, diverse dance group which combines Inupiaq, Cupik, Siberian-Yup’ik and Yup’ik Eskimo motion dancing from all around Alaska which our dancers represent as student attending University of Alaska Fairbanks.

Our Mission

Our mission is to continue on our way of motion dancing even though we are "away from home".

Organization News

Inu-Yupiaq is currently seeking donations to repair and buy new drums for our group.   We thank everyone for donating toward our Barrow trip to attend Kivgiq (third trip), please stay tuned for pictures of that event.  We are currently thinking about traveling to Cama'i Festival in Bethel, Alaska which our group has never been to.
